Fall Hairstyles

Hello loves,
I love fall, it is deffinatly myfavourtie season. You see all of the leaves on the floor and the icy cold nights. Listening to the rain, warming up by the fire whilst drinking hot coco. To me fall is the perfect season and also it is getting prepared for christmas! I still havent done any christmas shopping, I always leave it to last minute which is bad of me. These hairstyles are all very easy to do, the most difficult one is probarly the french braid one. Which one is your favorite?

Hairstyle 1- Fishtail braid:
1. Divide your hair into two large sections, straight down the middle.
2. Pull a thin strand of hair from the outside of the left section. Pull it over the top of the left section, and grasp it under the right section.
3. Repeat on the other side.
4. Keep alternating sides until you reach the bottom of the braid.
5. Tie with an elastic and your done.

Hairstyle 2- Loose curls in pony:
1. Curl your hair, take a small or medium sized piece of your hair and wrap around a curling tong for a few seconds, 10 to 20 should be plenty depending on the thickness and length of your hair.
2. Spray all of your hair with hairspray so that the curls stay in for longer.
3. Once all of your hair is curled put it up into a loose ponytail and then your done.

Hairstyle 3- Halo:
1. (This step is optional) curl your hair but only keep the sections that you are using on for around 5-10 seconds because we want a wave look.
2. Put a headband in your hair and start to wrap parts of your hair into the headband this will make you look like you are wearing a hair halo.
3. Finish of with some hairspray to keep your hair in the halo and your done.

Hairstyle 4- French braid:
1. Start by taking a section from the top of the head. Separate this section into 3 strands crossing right over middle and then left over middle.
2. Switch all of the strands over to your left hand and keep strands separated.
3. You can now gather a small even section from the right side of the head with your right hand and add it to the right strand.
4. Bring the strand you have just added to, over to the middle and bring the middle strand to the right. Keep all the strands separate.
5. You will now bring the left strand over to the middle and bring the middle section to the left. As you follow these steps, try to keep your hands close to the head so the braid will be tight.
6. Carry on until you reach the bottom of the braid, do the same to the other side and then tie with an elastic, then your done.

DIY Face Masks

Hey loves,
Recently I have been breaking out in spots and it is really annoying. I try to cover it up with makeup but it makes it 10x worse so I needed to come up with a compromise very quick. I had tried many different face masks and sometimes they make it worse and make my skin red and blotchy. Instead I decided that I would make my own face masks so it is more friendly to my face and it worked!

Banana face mask-
Mash up a medium-sized ripe banana into a smooth paste, then gently apply it to your face and neck. Let it set for 10 to 20 minutes, then rinse it off with cold water.

Milk face mask-
Make a mask by mixing 1/4 cup powdered milk with enough water to form a thick paste. Thoroughly coat your face with the mixture, let dry completely, then rinse with warm water. Your face will feel fresh and rejuvenated.

Oatmeal face mask-
Combine 1/2 cup hot not boiling water and 1/3 cup oatmeal. After the water and oatmeal have settled for two or three minutes, mix in 2 tablespoons plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 small egg white. Apply a thin layer of the mask to your face, and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Then rinse with warm water.

Mayonnaise face mask-
Gently spread the mayonnaise over your face and leave it on for about 20 minutes. Then wipe it off and rinse with cool water. Your face will feel clean and smooth.

Yoghourt face mask-
Slather some plain yogurt on your face and let it sit for about 20 minutes.

Cozy DIY Mug Sweater

Hey loves,
This is a very easy DIY and it will only take you around 5 minutes maybe even shorter time than that. I think this is a nice thing to do for the winter time to add a different look to your cup and also it looks very photogenic which if you have an instagram you could snap a photo of. It only takes 3 very easy, simple and short steps to do.

Step 1: measure your mug, or just look at how long you want the sweater to be!
Step two: cut it the length you want; plus cut around the handle of the mug; so you can hold it nicely.
Step three: slip it onto your fav mug and enjoy!

Naked Nudes Review and Makeup Tutorial

Hello my loves,
I have been loving nudes on my eyes this autumn I think it is very natural and it adds a little elgents. I recently picked this up and loved it. I knew as soon as I put my hands on it I had to have it. I thought that today I would do something a little different and do a review and a makeup tutorial just so you get a real inside on the product. It is something that I have never done before and I have seen many blog posts that do this and it is a lot more interesting and you see the real product for itself and you can learn more about it. My eyebrows weren't plucked when I did this makeup look but we can just ignore that, aha.

Review:
Firstly I would like to say W7 did great on the packaging, I break things very easy and this hasn't broke on me (yet) the colors last long on your eyes and are very easy to apply. The colors are very pigmented which is something that I like. They aren't loose eye shadows  but they do have a little bit of excess which can easily be taken of by a wipe. They are very easy to apply and throughout the day it doesn't smudge or crease which is something that I suffer with. I have very oily eyelids and my eye makeup comes of very easy, that is why people wear primer but with this eye shadow you could get away with wearing no primer which is great. Of course I still do because it just is part of my routine but you don't have to if you don't want.

Makeup Tutorial:

1. Firstly I applied the pale color in the middle and applied this all over the lid. This will work as a base and will make the browns more bright on the eyes. If you apply a pale color on your eyes before you add the other colors it will make your eyes look more bigger and brighter. (On the picture I have a lot of excess on my face and it looks very bad I do wipe it of but I snapped a picture before I did)

2. Next I apply the right brown color on the end and blend this into the outer V and blended it in. It will create a smokey look, not to harsh but wearable for the day. You cant really make out the brown because it is very light but when it all comes together you can really tell.

3. After that I apply the most darkest colour (which is nearly hitting pan) and blend that all over the crease this will give it a little smokey look and pull the look together. I also drag a little bit of the color under my eye to add effect and it makes the look more darker. Which gives it that extra bit of

4. Lastly I apply some eyeliner and apply a little bit of mascara and that is the finished look, personally I think this is a day look because it isnt to dark. You could add some more dark brown colours to make it a night look and that would be fine. I have been wearing this look a lot recently and it looks flawless. You will get a lot of compliments.

Bronzer Mad

Hello Loves,
Recently I have been going out of my comfort zone and wearing bronzer, now I never usually wear bronzer because it just never really appealed to me but I thought I would give it a go. I purchased a few bronzers and the ones that I am going to show you are all really good. Because it is Autumn my skin is going pale and I don't want to wear fake tan because I don't like fake tan. I think that having a little bit of bronzer on will make you look more bright and less pale and ill looking. I also feel like when you apply bronzer it puts the whole look together and it also makes your face look more slim. I have quite a fat face and wearing bronzer has seriously saved me.

The key to apply brozner is to know how to put it on well and not make it look like you have just fell in a pile of mud. You must all admit when you first tried applying bronzer it didn't go to well am I right? Mine looked like I had just bathed in mud it wasn't pretty. If you aren't the best at applying bronzer and you would like to wear some then I would advice watching a You Tube video to help you. When I apply bronzer I use a big fluffy brush because you get more product and also it just works best. I apply it to my cheekbones doing a fishy face and then my temples, nose, chin and my jaw line. I will start of with the cheapest to the most expensive but I mean really they are all affordable and under £10.

Here is a little quote that I thought I would share with you because it is very true. "You should use a bronzer to look healthier and sun-kissed, not 'bronze,'" Bronzer does make you look a lot more healthier like I said before it gives you more of a tan and its better than looking pale. I will start of with the cheapest to the most expensive but I mean really they are all affordable and under £10.

Bronzing Mosaic-
Personally I think this is the best one because it gives you the option to choose how dark you would like to have your bronzer. May I add in you also get 9 colours to choose from. What I do is I swirl my brush in the powder and apply it softly to my cheeks I don't need a lot of this just about two swirls. I only need to apply this once a day and it will last me. This doesn't have any glitter in which I love because I don't really like having glitter on my face I would prefer it if it is matte which it is.

Accoserize-
This is a little dark for my liking but I apply this when you would like to go out to a party or for a meal at night. The really good thing about this bronzer is that it lasts all night which is amazing. This bronzer does have glitter in which relates to the night theme. I wouldn't apply to much of this as I think it may look a little harsh on pale skin. But if you have naturally tanned skin then it will look great on you. I have pale skin so this could be the reason it doesn't look to good on me.

Avon Glow Bronzing Balls-
My mum uses this every single day and she swears by it. There are many different shades of brown as there are a lot of bronzing balls which will last you a long time. The look of this on your skin has a glimmer to it, it doesn't have to much sparkle but it isn't to matte either it has a nice look to it. It will look good for either day or night. The only problem that I have with this is that the balls can fall of your brush and on to the floor and you can stand on them and they can ruin your floor but hey other than that it is a overall great product.

The best Eyeliner EVER!?

Hello Lovelies!
It can be quite difficult trying to find the perfect products, and one that I do struggle with is Foundation and powder. But not so much Eyeliner, this Eyeliner is possibly one of the best I have tried! It retails at £6.00! If you are interested you can buy it here

I didn't wear Eyeliner until this bad boy, and so when I got it I thought it wont be that good! But as soon as I swatched it, it became my holy grail. It glides smoothly on to the eyes really well. I apply it on my upper waterline as it is waterproof and it stays put all day! It doesn't smudge and to make it even better it doesn't need sharpening, you just twist it up when you need it and your good to go. It claims it last up to 12 hours, but I haven't had it on for that long but I wouldn't be surprised if it does.

I have Blackest Black as I feel it is more wearable on a day to day basis. But I think every single one is great for creating different makeup looks. The nib can break easily if you apply to much pressure. But unlike some Eyeliners it doesn't drag on the skin or end up smudged under the eyes. Overall love this product 5-5 for me. I will defiantly be buying this again!

They have a range of colours to choose from:
Blackest Black
Majestic Plum
Starry Night Blue
Cosmic BrownCosmic Brown
Saturn Grey

Collection 2000 Colour Match Foundation

Hello Lovelies!
I think I may have found my perfect Foundation! I had to share this with you as soon as possible because it is just so great. If you have been following my blog for a while you may know I have not been able to find a Foundation with the right shade. I always get it to dark or to light. But I recently came across this and had to buy it! It adapts to your own skin colour!? What else could you want in a foundation? If you are interested in this Foundation you can purchase it here for only £5.99!

I got mine in the shade Light 2 as I feel this will look better, and is more my shade. I have never purchased anything that I know of from collection 2000, but I have heard many people talk about it. A lot of people really like the concealer they do but I didn't pick it up. This bottle has a pump which is great because one pump for me does plenty. It has SPF 20 which is great if you are wearing this and it is sunny.
When you apply this Foundation it automatically adapts to your Skin colour. It blends very well into Skin and the result of it you would expect a higher end product. But gives you that extra coverage, it gets rid of redness and makes my skin look radiant and feel fresh. It is lightweight and a matte finish. You might even get away with not wearing a powder. But I do just to be on the safe side.

The only problem I would say with this is the packaging. It is a glass bottle meaning it is very heavy and it will crack/break very easy. Personally I would not carry it in my bag incase it breaks. It also has a crack on the packaging, near the pump. I do have to keep it upright making sure that the foundation doesn't leak out. It doesn't bother me that much though. But overall 5-5 I will defiantly be buying this Foundation again as I love it and it works really well with the Rimel Stay Matte Pressed Powder.
TIP TIME: When applying Foundation blend it in with a buffing brush, this will reduce the look of pores!

Review: Nivea Refreshingly Soft Moisturising Cream

Hello Lovelies!
My Internet has been slow lately which means I can not watch YouTube videos without it freezing every 5 seconds! In all honesty I don't have much patients so I thought why not do a Blog post? Recently my skin has been very dry and I suffer with eczema and my skin gets very agitated during cold months, this cream has really helped my skin to be hydrated and makes it smooth and soft. I do recommend that you check it out, I love Nivea products so much.

When I buy a cream that is cheaper than Clinque or many other brands that are great for skincare I automatically think they are going to be terrible. My mum got me this as she loves it so much and uses it day and night! I use this before I apply Foundation to give it that dewy look, not so much wet and sticky but more like fresh and clean look. I don't apply it at night unless my skin needs some moisture but it works great under Foundation! It retails at: £2.45 you can purchase it here

My hand is chubby and very red sorry but we can ignore that
It works for the face, hands and body. Which is great meaning you can use it all over. It smells amazing, I have to have a lotion that smells nice otherwise its not going to work for me. It has Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E which is great for the skin! The texture of the cream is thick but when you apply to skin only but a little bit on as if you put to much you will look very oily. It takes about 2-3 minutes to dry on your face, not sure about the body though. I don't think there is anything bad about this product, you get a lot of use out of it as the bottle lasts for a long time. Overall a great product that I love. It stays put all day and leaves a fresh feeling on your face. Overall 4.5-5.

Review: W7 Lashtastic False Liquid Lashes Mascara

Hello Lovelies!
Today I have a review on a great Mascara for only £1.99! Sorry it was so short I did try to pack everything about this product in there. Hopefully you enjoy it!

The packaging is simply it does stand out though as it is Yellow. If you have a huge makeup collection and it is difficult to find products I am sure this one will not be hard to find. The feeling is not like a ordinary mascara packaging it feels smooth. It is quite weird really. I'm sure I'm not the only one who does this but when I put my mascara wand back it sometimes it slips and goes all down the packaging and all over my hand meaning I am all dirty as well as the mascara. So when I come to wipe it of with a wet wipe it is very difficult.

The wand is amazing it has so many bristles that will even out your lashes. When I apply it to my eyes it feels really wet and dewy, so whatever you do, do not blink it will go everywhere. I do like the fact that it is very wet as sometimes (or all the time) one eyelash is always longer and thicker than the other in my case. It makes my eyelashes so long, I could probably touch my eyebrows with them...I feel like it does an okay job of separating them, it isn't the best but it isn't bad. It curls them so good, but I don't really go for the curled effect on my eyelashes. I would wear this more at night than in the day. The reason for this is because it can sometimes make your eyes look a bit harsh. Another thing is because they are supposed to look like you are wearing fake lashes it hurts your eyes. Overall 4-5. Good for the price of only £1.99.

Thank you for reading! Much love, see you soon Erin xoxo
